The Davis WeatherLink Network - using a Davis WeatherLinkIP data logger on a VP2 Station

How does WeatherLinkIP work?

Davis has created WeatherLinkIP to work with its www.weatherlink.com site, which is maintained by Davis Instruments. Simply plug the WeatherLinkIP data logger into the back of your Vantage Pro console, Vantage Pro2 console or Weather Envoy and connect to your cable or DSL router/hub. Please note: A router or hub and internet service is required for the proper operation of this product.

A PC is not required for data upload, however, it is required to view your weather online. Once you register online, you'll be able to see all your data. It's that simple.

Note: When you plug in your WeatherLinkIP data logger to your cable/DSL router and your console/Envoy, it instantly starts uploading data to www.weatherlink.com - without you doing anything else. Leave the data logger plugged in to your console or Envoy and it will upload to your account on www.weatherlink.com automatically. You'll need to register/login to your account to see the data.

Because WeatherLinkIP is simply connected to your router/hub and console/Envoy, you'll have the full features of WeatherLink software at your fingertips throughout your computer network.
